Alsalam alaykum,

I just thought that it would be beneficial to share this information from Tareekh Nisapur by Al-Hakim (p. 232):

Al-Hussain bin Dawud bin Ali bin Eisa bin Mohammed bin Al-Qassim bin Al-Hasan bin Zaid bin Al-Hasan bin Ali bin Abi Talib, according to Ibn Khuzaimah was the Imam of the Muslims in his time. He died in 355 AH.

Al-Hakim Al-Nisapuri, often seen as one of the more objective Sunnis (by Shias) due to his tashayyu states: He was the shaikh of the aal of the Prophet (pbuh) in his times in Khurasan, and he was one of the closest people emotionally to the companions of the Prophet (pbuh). I accompanied him for a period of time, and I prayed with him the Friday prayers for ten something years, and I never heard him say the name of Uthman without him saying, "Ameer Al-Mu'mineen," and he would cry. Nor would he mention A'isha without saying, "The sideeqa the daughter of al-sideeq the habeeba of the habeeb of the Prophet (pbuh)," and he would cry.

This was a scholar of ahlulbayt, since ahlulbayt include the children of Al-Hasan, and isn't restricted to fourteen individuals.

Al-hakim (rah) was a sunni imam with special love for ahlbait(as) and this is how muslims should be.

Assalam alaikoum

Brother Wasil,

All sunnies have special love for Ahl ul bait. Who wouldn't when we know they are the descendants of the Prophet saws?
But they do not restrict this definition to a bunch of people: they respect all of them.
What an extremist and restrictive definition shias are defending!

May Allah cure you brother
What can my enemies do to me? I have in my chest both my heaven and my garden. If I travel they are with me, never leaving me. Imprisonment for me is a chance to be alone with my Lord. To be killed is martyrdom and to be exiled from my land is a spiritual journey.

Salam `Aleykum,

Very useful information, but as I said brother Farid try to always provide Arabic texts :p

This is no surprise of course as it is well known that many from the earliest scholars of Ahlul-Bayt used to refute and disown the Rafidhah and those who become extreme in their Shiasm, and it is Mutawatir that Ahlul-Bayt at all times whether Hassani or Husseini praised the four Caliphs.
Religion = simple and clear.

عليك سلامُ الله منّا كلّما ثارَ ثائرٌ يا حُسين

This is Imam Al-Hakim? Wasn't Imam Hakim Zaydi?

قال عبدالله بن المبارك - رحمه الله تعالى- : (الدين لأهل الحديث، والكلام والحيل لأهل الرأى، والكذب للرافضة

Imam Ibn Al-Mubarak (one of the Leading Imams of the Salaf Al-Salih) - رحمه الله تعالى- said: 'The Deen is for the Ahl Al-Hadith, Kalam and tricks for the Ahl Al-Rai and lies are for the Rafidah'.

أبو بكر سيدنا وخيرنا إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

نملة وادى النمل اعقل من الرافضى

Imam Fakhr Al-Din Razi (Persian Sunni scholar from Rai/today's Tehran) said: 'An ant from the valley of the ants possesses more intellect than the Rafidi'.
