if you disagree with some people does that mean their faith is wrong , i told you that this beating and cutting is a bad tradition and custom shia inherited and followed for centuries but none of what they're doing in these videos is from the shia madhab, but you're criticising the shia madhab for the ignorance of some shia and this makes you your self ignorant, look ate sunni societies where girls in arab world go to concerts and start taking their bras off and dancing like mad and showing their parts, does that mean that i'm gonna start cursing sunnah and say they represent sunnah, also shia not all shia do these things only the ignorant one, but ayatollah hakim was expressing his passion and love in a great display of pain from his heart not like the other ignorants cutting them selves with swords and sharp tools and jumping like  monkeys, most shia now are trying to wake up to the fact that these festivals are becoming more and more extreme and they shouls stop, now if you want to criticise the madhab give us a hadith even fabricated from shia books where the IMAMs  CONDONE  such practice!!!!!!!!

Yes there are those calling themselves sunni and shia stripping etc... who knows but Allah, however you shias do matam as ibaadah i never heard of a muslim drinking liqour or commiting zina in form of ibadah like shia.

yeas true most ulama unfortunately allow it and i think it's wrong and even those ulama cannot defend it when asked about it, some say it's good but other ulama condemn it and i dont care what ulama say, i care about what the imams say, if the ulama contradicts the imam then it;'s his fault not mine have u ever seen anyulama cutting himself they dont do it but they allow the common people to do itt which is really bad i follow ahli bayt not a bunch of common people with no knowledge just doing what they're grandfathers did without questioning it so i challenge you and these ulama you mentioned to bring me a hadith even fabricated that condone cutting and such behaviour

You are using either Taqiyyah or you are simply ignorant of your faith.

ALL of the prominent Shia Maraje' have allowed it and even encouraged it, including Tatbeer (hitting of swords to draw blood).  NONE of the Maraje' has said otherwise.

Ayatollah al-Shirazi said:  �The most common and widely known opinion of the Fuqaha (scholars) is that the desirability (of TATBIR) is in it not being extremely harmful.�

He further said:

�Tatbir (shedding blood using swords) has always been recommended as Mustahab (highly recommended) by the overwhelming consensus of the �ULAMA and there has rarely been any, if at all, high-ranking �Aalim ever to have declared otherwise.�
