The Prophet Muhammad His life

8 posts in this topic

Muhammad was born in Makkah (Mecca) in the year 570. Since his father died before his birth and his mother died shortly thereafter, he was raised by his uncle who was from the respected tribe of Quraysh. He was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained so till his death. His people, before his mission as a prophet, were ignorant of science and most of them were illiterate. As he grew up, he became known to be truthful, honest, trustworthy, generous, and sincere. He was so trustworthy that they called him the Trustworthy.1 Muhammad was very religious, and he had long detested the decadence and idolatry of his society.
The Prophet Muhammad’s Mosque in Madinah.
At the age of forty, Muhammad received his first revelation from God through the Angel Gabriel. The revelations continued for twenty-three years, and they are collectively known as the Qur'an.
As soon as he began to recite the Qur'an and to preach the truth which God had revealed to him, he and his small group of followers suffered persecution from unbelievers. The persecution grew so fierce that in the year 622 God gave them the command to emigrate. This emigration from Makkah to the city of Madinah, some 260 miles to the north, marks the beginning of the Muslim calendar.
After several years, Muhammad and his followers were able to return to Makkah, where they forgave their enemies. Before Muhammad died, at the age of sixty-three, the greater part of the Arabian Peninsula had become Muslim, and within a century of his death, Islam had spread to Spain in the West and as far East as China. Among the reasons for the rapid and peaceful spread of Islam was the truth and clarity of its doctrine. Islam calls for faith in only one God, Who is the only one worthy of worship.
The Prophet Muhammad was a perfect example of an honest, just, merciful, compassionate, truthful, and brave human being. Though he was a man, he was far removed from all evil characteristics and strove solely for the sake of God and His reward in the Hereafter. Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of God.

Salam!

Thanks for sharing the information!

I have a question about the Messenger of Islam. Were the Muslims and Sahabah all united during the time of the Messenger? If yes, what made them united?

Thanks!

like Allah (swt) says:

It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers. And brought together their hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them together. Indeed, He is Exalted in Might and Wise. [Anfal:62-63]

I am a great follower of the most remarkable man on EARTH. However, when we talk about his Life, we need to divide it into many factual aspects. As a man he was the best. And we need to educate people on that. Taking out the religious end. I spoke to many of my friends and they all love his stories of kindness, love and respect. and they are not muslims. And many of times I tell them his story without mentioning his name and they are curious.

Second part is his religious beliefs. I like to share that with people who love him first. Very difficult to share his religious beliefs on people who do not love him first.

His life is a mark of truth and verdict that Allah is one. What a message to mankind. I was once listening to a lecture by a christian scholar and he said what was the most remarkable thing about Muhammad? Now I know. He was able to communicate the oneness of god to the world. And that is the beauty of his grace.

A-slam alikum,

Prophet Muhammad' was conceived in 570 CE in Makkah . His dad, Abdullah, kicked the bucket a few weeks before his introduction to the world in Yathrib (Medinah) where he went to visit his dad's maternal relatives. His mom kicked the bucket while on the arrival travel from Medinah at a place called "Abwa" when he was six years of age. He was raised by his fatherly granddad 'Abd al Muttalib (Shaybah) until the age of eight, and after his granddad's demise by Abu Talib, his fatherly uncle. 'Abd al Muttalib's mom, Salma, was a local of Medinah and he was brought up as a young man in Medinah before his uncle Muttalib conveyed him to Makkah to succeed him. Numerous years prior to Muhammad's introduction to the world, 'Abd al Muttalib had built up himself as a powerful pioneer of the Arab tribe "Quraish" in Makkah and dealt with the Holy haven 'Ka'bah'. Makkah was a city state very much associated with the train courses to Syria and Egypt in the north and northwest and Yemen in the south. Muhammad was a relative of Prophet Ismail through the genealogy of his second child Kedar.

Ka'bah is the principal place of love based on earth for the love of Allah, the One True God. It was re-worked by Prophets Ibrahim and Ishmael. Allah is the correct name of the One True God, maker and sustainer of the universe, who does not have an accomplice or partner, and He didn't bring forth nor was He sired. Not at all like the word god, the word Allah does not have a plural or sex.

Under the guardianship of Abu Talib, Muhammad'S started to gain a living as a businessperson and a dealer. At twelve years old, he went with Abu Talib with a trader band similarly as Bostra in Syria. Muhammad was famously known as 'al-Ameen' for his irreproachable character by the Makkans and guests alike. The title Al-Ameen implies the Honest, the Reliable and the Trustworthy, and it meant the most noteworthy standard of good and open life.

After knowing about Muhammad's noteworthy certifications, Khadijah, a rich trader dowager, asked Muhammad' to take some stock for exchange to Syria. Not long after this outing when he was a quarter century, proposed marriage to Muhammad through a relative. Muhammad acknowledged the proposition. Around then, Khadijah was twice widowed and forty years of age. Khadijah (ra) and Muhammad's were the guardians of six kids - four girls and two children. His first child Qasim kicked the bucket at two years old. He was nicknamed Abul Qasim, which means the father of Qasim. His second child Abdullah passed on in earliest stages. Abdullah was likewise called warmly as "Tayyab" and "Tahir" in light of the fact that he was conceived after Muhammad's prophethood. The four girls were: Zainab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthum, and Fatimah (ra).

The Holy haven Ka'bah was presently loaded with three hundred sixty icons. The first, unblemished message of Prophet Ibrahim was lost, and it was blended with superstitions and customs of pioneers and guests from far off spots, who were utilized to symbol love and myths. In each era, a little gathering of men and ladies disdained the contamination of Ka'bah and kept unadulterated their routine of the religion instructed by Prophets Ibrahim and Ismail. They used to invest some of their energy far from this dirtied environment in retreats to adjacent slopes.

Muhammad's was forty while, amid his one of many retreats to Mount Hira for reflection amid the month of Ramadan, he got the principal disclosure from the Archangel Jibril (Gabriel). On this first appearance, Gabriel (as) said to Muhammad: "Iqraa," which means Read or Recite. Muhammad answered, "I can't read," as he had not got any formal instruction and did not know how to peruse or compose. The Angel Gabriel then grasped him until he achieved the breaking point of his perseverance and in the wake of discharging said: "Iqraa." Muhammad's answer was the same as some time recently. Gabriel rehashed the grasp for the third time, requesting that he rehash after him and said:

"Discuss for the sake of your Lord who made! He made man from that which sticks. Present; and thy Lord is most Bountiful, He who has instructed by the pen, showed man what he knew not."

These disclosures are the initial five verses of Surah (part) 96 of the Qur'an. Subsequently it was in the year 610 CE the disclosure started.

Muhammad (s) was startled by the entire experience of the disclosure and fled the buckle of Mt. Hira [Qur'an 81:19-29]. When he achieved his home, drained and panicked, he asked his significant other: 'cover me, cover me,' in a cover. After his wonderment had to some degree decreased, his better half Khadijah got some information about the reason of his extraordinary nervousness and dread. She then guaranteed him by saying: "Allah (The One God) won't let you down in light of the fact that you are thoughtful to relatives, you talk just reality, you help poor people, the vagrant and the penniless, and you are a genuine man. Khadijah then counseled with her cousin Waraqa who was an old, virtuous man having information of past disclosures and sacred texts. Waraqa affirmed to her that the guest was none other than the Angel Gabriel who had come to Moses. He then included that Muhammad is the normal Prophet. Khadijah acknowledged the disclosure as truth and was the principal individual to acknowledge Islam. She bolstered her better half in each hardship, most strikingly amid the three-year "blacklist" of the Prophet's tribe by the agnostic Quraish. She kicked the bucket at the age of sixty-five in the month of Ramadan not long after the lifting of the blacklist in 620 CE.

Gabriel (as) went by the Prophet as told by Allah uncovering Ayat (which means signs, inexactly alluded to as verses) in Arabic over a time of twenty-three years. The disclosures that he got were now and again a couple verses, a part of a section or the entire section. A few disclosures descended in light of a request by the nonbelievers. The uncovered verses were recorded on an assortment of accessible materials (cowhide, palm leaves, bark, bear bones of creatures), remembered when they were uncovered, and were presented in day by day petitions by Muslims [Qur'an 80:13-16]. Heavenly attendant Gabriel educated the request and course of action of verses, and the Prophet taught his few copyists to record verses in a specific order [Qur'an 75:16-19 and 41:41-42]. Once every year, the Prophet used to recount every one of the verses uncovered to him up to that opportunity to Gabriel to validate the precision of recitation and the request of verses [Qur'an 17:106]. All the uncovered verses (over a time of 23 years and consummation in 632 CE) were ordered in the book known as Qur'an. The name Qur'an shows up in the uncovered verses. The Qur'an does not contain even a word from the Prophet. The Qur'an talks in the principal individual, i.e., Allah's instructions to His creation. Gabriel likewise went to the Prophet all through his central goal illuminating and showing him of occasions and technique as expected to help in the fruition of the prophetic mission. The Prophet's adages, activities, and endorsements are recorded independently in accumulations known as Hadith.

The mission of Prophet Muhammad (s) was to reestablish the love of the One True God, the maker and sustainer of the universe, as instructed by Prophet Ibrahim and all Prophets of God, and to show and finish the laws of good, moral, legitimate, and social direct and every single other matter of hugeness for the humankind on the loose.

The initial few individuals who took after this message were: his cousin Ali, his hireling Zayd ibn Harithah, his companion Abu Bakr and his significant other and little girls. They acknowledged Islam by affirming that:

"There is no Deity (deserving of love) aside from Allah (The One True God) and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."

Islam implies peace by accommodation and dutifulness to the Will and Commandments of God and the individuals who acknowledge Islam are called Muslims, which means the individuals who have acknowledged the message of peace by accommodation to God.

In the initial three years of his central goal forty individuals (men and ladies) acknowledged Islam. This little gathering involved youth and additionally more established individuals from an extensive variety of financial and social foundation. The Prophet was guided by a late disclosure to begin lecturing Islam to everybody. He then started to discuss disclosures to individuals in broad daylight and welcome them to Islam. The Quraish, pioneers of Makkah, brought his proclaiming with antagonistic vibe. The most antagonistic and nearest to the prophet was his uncle Abu Lahab and his better half. At first, they and different pioneers of Quraish attempted to influence him with cash and power including an offer to make him lord if he somehow happened to desert his message. At the point when this did not work, they attempted to persuade his uncle Abu Talib to acknowledge the best young fellow of Makkah set up of Muhammad and to permit them to murder Muhammad. His uncle attempted to induce the Prophet to quit lecturing however the Prophet said: "O uncle, if they somehow happened to put the sun in my correct hand and the moon in my left hand to prevent me from lecturing Islam, I could never stop. I will continue lecturing until Allah makes Islam win or I bite the dust."

The Quraish started to aggrieve Muslims by beating, torment and blacklist of their organizations. The individuals who were powerless, poor or slaves were freely tormented. The main individual to bite the dust by this implies was a Muslim ladies by the name Umm Ammar (the mother of Ammar Ibn Yasir). The Muslims from well-to-do families were physically limited in their homes with the condition that on the off chance that they abnegate they will be permitted flexibility of development. The Prophet was freely criticized and embarrassed including continuous tossing of foulness on him in the road keeping in mind he supplicated in the Ka'bah. Despite extraordinary hardships and no clear support, the message of Islam kept all Muslims firm in their conviction. The Prophet was requested that by God be understanding and to lecture the message of Qur'an. He prompted Muslims to stay quiet since he didn't get any disclosure yet to strike back against their persecutors. [Persecution]

At the point when the abuse got to be distinctly unendurable for most Muslims, the Prophet informed them in the fifth year with respect to his central goal (615 CE) to emigrate to Abyssinia (advanced Ethiopia) where Ashabah was the ruler. Eighty individuals, not check.
